Richmond Transit Village

Project Image  The Richmond Transit Village is a transit oriented development project located in Richmond, California.   The varied, dense, housing of this transit village is within walking distance from the local Amtrak, Bay Area Rapid Transit, and a couple of other bus/train stations. The village is also close to Richmond's downtown. Shops and restaraunts up and down the plaza of the Richmond Transit Village, and the village also has a park and a performing arts center.

Bay Meadows

      The Bay Meadows community in San Mateo, California, is another example of a transit oriented development project. The community is firstly, a pedestrian area, but is also located within walking range of the Caltrain station. There is variation in the types of incomes, homes, and ages. Restaraunts. shops, and parks are located within the transit village and have helped create a sense of community for residents.
