Cotton District Street Art Feedback

In Starkville, Ms the intersection of University Drive and Maxwell Street of  the Cotton District is to be painted.  The painting will be of a sun.  Tis particular sun is a Native American symbol that means “continual happiness throughout all stages of your life”. To me this seems like a very good idea because this symbol matches the feeling of The Cotton District perfectly.  However, many people do not like the idea.  Some people do not like the colors while others want to change the symbol completely. I still think that it is a good idea because it not only captures the happy felling people get when they enter the Cotton District, but it also shows a little of the Cotton District’s Native American background.
