Thursday when we visited the Cotton District we spent time by a fountain near the location where a piece of street art will be painted on Monday. It was a beautiful, relaxing space, and I believe a piece of street art will further the mood even more. I’m open as to the choice of picture, but I believe the sun which will be painted is a wonderful choice. The sun is meant to symbolize continued happiness, which resembles the mood of the Cotton District. I think the street art will help to foster a feeling of community unity.
